The Cats Action Trust Poem
I’d like to thank you very much for everything you give,
It means so much that someone cares about the way I live.
It means that I can have nice blankets that will keep me warm,
And I won’t lay abandoned; I’ll be sheltered from the storm.
If I get sick and need something to make me well again,
Then someone gives me medicine to take away the pain.
No longer am I starving with my body getting thinner,
I get some nice warm milk now and a very tasty dinner.
Someone’s there to cuddle me and give my fur a comb,
And if I’m really lucky they might find me a new home.
I’ve written this with pussy ink in which I dipped my claws,
And now this is my signature for which I’ve used my paws.
